Friends of Cracow Society in Chicago
A non-profit organization that formed nine years ago to promote the city of Cracow, Poland - its history, cultural heritage and educational institutions.
The Friends of Cracow Society quickly gained status as one of the most prestigious, trendy, visible and popular organizations not only in Chicago, but also in the many world centers of Polonia.
The important event in the Society's program is the celebration of DAYS of CRACOW in CHICAGO- an event that takes place in June. Each year as many as 5,000 people take part in a traditional picnic in Schiller Woods where they have the opportunity and the pleasure to see the performances of the most popular artists from Poland, taste traditional polish kitchen delicacies, and spend quality time relaxing with the whole family.

Rezolucja
Zarząd Towarzystwa Przyjaciół Krakowa aby upamiętnić 13 lat tworzenia tradycji Krakowskich Zaduszek Jazzowych TPK w Chicago przez dziesiątki Wolontariuszy, w dniu 6 października 2011 jednomyślnie przyjął rezolucję:
“Krakowskie Zaduszki Jazzowe w Chicagosą pomysłem, imprezą kulturalną i własnością intelektualną Towarzystwa Przyjaciół Krakowa w Chicago”
(non-for-profit organization registered with State of Illinois).
